Grapefruit Curd

GET STARTED

Add the juice, zest, sugar, and eggs to the saucepan.

STIR

Stir constantly. The sugar will dissolve as the mixture thickens.

FOOD SAFETY

Cook the eggs until at least 160 F.

ADD THE BUTTER

Butter provides a silky, smooth texture for your curd.

WHEN IS CURD DONE?

Dip a wooden spoon into the curd. If it coats the spoon completely it should be ready.

ENJOY!

Grapefruit curd is wonderful with scones, on toast, atop ice cream or yogurt, or as filling in cakes.
